I forget what I was looking for when I found her website, but Marnie Maclean’s was one of the first knitting sites I had ever come across. Having been a knitter for about 5 minutes, I was excited that she knit things that I would actually want to wear -as opposed to a Santa jumper a la Bridget Jones. I found a lot of other resources as a result of finding her site, and I even knit her marigold hat, which sadly didn’t fit me, with my big old afro, but fits my mother quite nicely. Perhaps Ill try the hat again when I tie my hair down. Anyway, her site and her knitting characters were cool enough that I broke down and did the ubiquitous online quiz. A little late to the party since everyone else had apparently done so, but better late… well you get it.
You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer. You are through those knitting growing pains and feeling more adventurous. You can follow a standard pattern if it’s not too complicated and know where to go to get help. Maybe you’ve started to experiment with different fibers and you might be eyeing a book with a cool technique you’ve never tried.
