I’m vaguely fascinated by pods and the things that spill out of them when they open. There’s something so alien about them and the way they “pop!” This one is actually pretty enough to be considered a flower. In general, I do try to acknowledge holidays in the daily picture. Sometimes I even delay posting a picture so I can go out and get an immediate shot.
