The pod picture I took a couple of days back reminded me of these pictures I took a while ago of decidedly less friendly-looking pods.
These are alien indeed.

It rained today but you didn’t notice the wet so much as the leaves. I suppose it’s more practical and less injury-inducing than raining men or cats and dogs, but it’s infinitely less entertaining.
